Trio Of Pups In Need Of Your Help! 29th May 2020, by Soi Dog Foundation
A tragic rise in abandoned puppies during this time of crisis.
At a quick glance, these three adorable puppies look entirely happy and healthy. We named these cuties (left to right) Kimbub, Kimbu and Kimber. Sadly, behind these happy eight-week-old faces is a story of real sadness and trauma. They were heartlessly dumped at an abandoned construction site. These tiny creatures were infested with fleas and were anaemic. Unfortunately, the vets soon discovered that Kimber, the fairest of the thre...

Don't Let Mighty Thorium's Tough Exterior Fool You.. 28th May 2020, by Soi Dog Foundation
Don't let the mighty Thorium fool you.
When you see cats like Thorium, you think they have it all figured out. That they are independent and carefree and don't need sympathy nor the attention of humans.
Most of the time, this couldn't be farther from the truth. The big boss attitude is just a facade keep trouble away as much as possible.
You can read more about the "real" Thorium here: https://links.soidog.org/adopt-soi-dog-rescue-thor ium

Hanko The Feline Hero Is Recovered And Ready For A.. 27th May 2020, by Soi Dog Foundation
Hanko the feline hero is recovered and ready for adoption! Please help us share his incredible story.
Perhaps you remember this amazingly brave boy? Hanko came to us at the tender age of five weeks with severe eye issues caused by a chronic case of cat flu. He was completely blind and in desperate need of treatment.
We can hardly comprehend how a tiny blind boy like him could survive on the streets. He was so frail and surrounded by danger. For some kittens that come through our doors, it is...

As part of Soi Dog’s #nopawleftbehind month, this week we are featuring the ‘Mae’ family, a family of rescue dogs that came in together. Up first, is Maepetch a.k.a ‘Mama Bear.’ She was rescued along with three of her daughters. Her name directly translates to ‘diamond mother’ in Thai. Diamond seemed fitting for a strong, precious, and resilient beauty like her.
Maepetch most likely gave birth when she was only six months’ old. While struggling to care for her puppies, somehow ...

Read Fasuay's Story. 26th May 2020, by Soi Dog Foundation
My name is Fasuay and I was struggling with terrible skin problems when the humans here found me. Living on the streets as a homeless dog, I had no owner to care for me and take me for medical treatment.
My skin problems had caused me to lose most of my fur, leaving me with bald spots all over my body and painful open sores from where I was constantly scratching myself. Back then, the sadness in my eyes was clearly visible.
As if things weren’t bad enough for me, the vets also discovered ...

🌟 Dogs of the week 🌟
This week, we have a very captivating family of dogs to introduce you to: the Mae family. Interestingly, all four of their names begin with "Mae" which translates to "mother" in Thai. However, there is only one mummy dog among them, Maepetch, and the rest are her daughters, Maethong, Maeploy and Maengern. All four dogs are unique in their own special way, even down to their names which are inspired by different types of gemstones.

Can You Be Otop's Good Luck Charm? 25th May 2020, by Soi Dog Foundation
Meow there, my name's Otop and I’m 🌟cat of the week🌟, but also the girl with the golden paw! I like to think this gives me special powers, that everything I touch turns to gold (or kibble). When you hear about the hard times I’ve made it through, I'm sure you’ll agree that it must be my lucky charm.
I was the victim of a road traffic accident when I was only 18 months old. Homeless, weak and weighing no more than a couple of kilograms, it’s amazing I survived. But I was badly hur...

Warning Graphic Images. What An Awful Existence Fo.. 25th May 2020, by Soi Dog Foundation
WARNING: GRAPHIC IMAGES
What an awful existence for such an innocent, young pup. Rasali was close to death when we rescued him from a construction site. He had major, life-threatening wounds from a terrible dog attack. He also had sand in his intestines, a body full of fleas, a horrible cough, parasites in his blood and, perhaps worst of all, Rasali had the deadly parvovirus. This ten-week-old beautiful boy was truly down on his luck. Rasali deserves so much more than to live in pain and fear.
