Nov 2nd. Dog's Rescue Update [HQ]

November 2nd. 10pm EST - Latest video from dogs rescue by Khun Bee on what is called Dog's Island, where the team rescued 300 dogs. Yes you read right... 300. The video taken by Thai TV station is though, but all dogs were rescued and they are all at the shelter.
As you can see we work around the clock rescuing dogs and we still need your help with donations. Please donate now.

Many thanks to Nestle Purina who are donating 1.5 tones of food.
2 more boats purchased today and outboard motors being sent up from Phuket if we can find somewhere TNT will deliver to. Won't go through any flooded areas.
HSI sending vet team over from India who will bring additional nets and poles.
Problem at moment is finding places to take dogs to. WFFT shelter full.

Please note some of the handling may appear rough, but the dogs are not harmed and is a case of saving their lives. Many are strays and unapproachable normally. The rescuers have to try and avoid getting bitten.
On one of Khun Bee's earlier photos you will see a bad wound on her arm, which required hospital treatment, but she still battles on.

We would also like to address some of the people who have made comment that the animals a being roughly treated by rescuers in video and in pictures.
It is not the intention of any of the rescuers to harm the animals however please consider the following points.
1, The animal is in a state of panic and trying to survive in an environment it is not used to being in (surrounded by water), so reacts accordingly.
2, The animal is not with people they know, their owners have all been relocated.

A minority of Horrible People out there who do NOT care about Animals have made the comment" Just let them drown" and words to that effect.
Can you honestly look at this dog and say I dont care that they are suffering and not help, they can feel panic, be hurt, and know they are about to die and feel anguish just like Humans.

To all the anglers out there, whats the biggest fish you ever caught?, Try catching a 60KG Dog, you will appreciate the Huge Physical effort going into Rescuing these Dogs -
