Dogs Island Rescues - (Part 1) 04 November 2011 5th Nov 2011, by Soi Dog Foundation
For those people asking if this puppy is dead, its not its just tired and sleeping, you will see a lot of dogs in the album that look like this as they are just physically shattered, and have no energy left.
We need to feed them to get their strength back up again, and food costs money, by Sharing Crossposting and Donating YOU ARE making a difference to Animals like this puppy in the picture.

Dogs Island Rescues - (Part 1) 04 November 2011 5th Nov 2011, by Soi Dog Foundation
Short Update From Cindy
The water is still rising, we've been through flooded areas of Bangkok today, that weren't flooded yesterday. The rescue trip we were involved with yesterday involved a 4 hour journey on the back of a truck to a place called "Dogs Island". This is an island in the middle of a huge temple complex, approx 300acres in size.
The area is so large that a local guide is needed to navigate to "Dogs Island". The dogs have lived on this island & been fed by locals for years. When...

Updates On 5th Nov 2011 5th Nov 2011, by Soi Dog Foundation
Please be aware that updates may be sporadic. Everybody is involved in flood rescue. Gill working 18 hours a day in Phuket managing shelter and coordinating a lot of the communications and relief efforts. When Reggie back she will go to Cha Am to work there. Communications are bad and the logistics horrendous. takes an 8 hour round trip by big truck and boat to get to the island where Bee is working and where Cindy took photo earlier today. All dogs at shelter OK. Flash flood 2 weeks ago is not ...

She's been at the shelter for a few months now & her previous injury (sustained when her cage was thrown from the truck when intercepted by Thai police) is almost completely healed. She now walks almost perfectly! She is a super friendly girl who just loves people, she can't get enough of us!! She met a large group of young school children a few weeks ago & loved every minute.
We n...

PIMGHON WILL BREAK YOUR HEART... 4th Nov 2011, by Soi Dog Foundation
PIMGHON WILL BREAK YOUR HEART... WILL YOU SPONSOR HIM? Pimghon was brought to Soi Dog by two kind Thai ladies (Pim & Ghon), so that's where his name comes from. He was living on their street & they were feeding him, but they could not care for him any longer so thankfully they brought him to Soi Dog. At some stage he's suffered a broken jaw & when he arrived it was all wired up. There was no need for the wires, so we removed them & he's now a lot more comfortable.
Pimghon also recently had part...

"ROZ" MAY BE HERE A LONG TIME, SHE NEEDS SPONSORS! 4th Nov 2011, by Soi Dog Foundation
"ROZ" MAY BE HERE A LONG TIME, SHE NEEDS SPONSORS!
Roz is almost blind. We found her severely malnourished, wandering the streets of Phuket searching for food. Roz loves to sit with you on her bamboo sala & adores affection. She has the most beautiful smile, which lights up her whole face. She's also very keen on sweet biscuits!
She is a very gentle dog with a lovely sweet nature. Unless we can find a very special home for Roz, SHE WILL SPEND HER LIFE HERE AT SOI DOG. Because of her limited s...
