A PUPPY CALLED "SHIVER"

This little puppy was found at the side of a road by a kind delivery driver, who took the puppy to the government dog pound. The pound had no medicine to treat the pup, so one of the pound staff members asked the driver to take the puppy to Soi Dog. She knew Soi Dog would do all they could to save the puppy's life. Shiver is in intensive care & we need your help.
He's called "Shiver" because he's always shivering. He's skin & bone & has no hair, so he's cold. Shiver's now in our Intensive Care...

SOI DOG DESPERATELY NEEDS A TRUCK/PICK UP!!... We need to rescue more dogs from flood effected areas. The waters are still rising & more animals will need our help. Does anyone in the Bangkok area have a diesel truck or large "pick up" that they would be prepared to loan to us? We need this vehicle to transport small boats & dog food to badly effected areas. BANG PU RESCUE SHELTER!

BANG PU RESCUE SHELTER!...Rescue organisations are setting up a Dog Rescue Center at Ban Pu/Samut Prakon, 1 hour from the centre of Bangkok to house dogs displaced by the floods. SCAD, Save Elephant Foundation & Soi Dog Foundation have joined forces to fund & build a 200 dog shelter on land donated by Thai Wantana Panich Press Company. The "Humane Society International" from India has a vet team vaccinating all animals & will spay/neuter them before they are retuned, once the water has receeded....

Rama the dog who sought refuge on elevated expressway and was struck by car before being rescued from certain death by Kharn and Cindy and Derek. Following emergency treatment was flown to Phuket where he will remain in old dogs area. Clearly had a bad life.

There have been a few enquiries about particular dogs, especially some on the bridge. Please be aware that we are dealing with thousands of dogs and wherever possible they will be left in situ if safe and food can be supplied. Injured and sick dogs are being taken to temporary shelters for treatment. It is not possible at this time to give special treatment to particular dogs. BANGKOK FLOODS - BUILDING NEEDED FOR RESCUE WORK - BANGKOK RESIDENTS PLEASE SHARE WITH YOUR FRIENDS ETC.
A building is needed in the Bangkok area temporarily for supply storage and for rescue groups to bring animals. Animals may stay there for 6 to 18 hours prior to being taken to shelters.
Does not have to be large. Needs to be a space with electric power and water outside of flood zone.

BANGKOK FLOODS - BOAT DONATION!... SOI DOG FOUNDATION today took delivery of 2 new boats to help with the rescue of animals from Bangkok's flooded streets. The boats were kindly donated by "VANDAPAC" - makers of Maxliner.They also modified the boats so our outboard engines would fit & tested them to ensure they would perform well.The boats are flat bottom & stable in the water, ideal when our volunteers have to work standing up.
