Our volunteers worked extremely hard in hot conditions, standing for hours with collection buckets & banners from 10am this morning till 8pm tonight. We will be back next weekend to do it all over again! All monies raised will be put towards...

SWEET PEA IS GETTING BETTER!... CAN WE FIND HER A FOREVER HOME?
Just come back from the veterinary hospital visiting Sweet Pea. She's been there over a week now. She's out of the oxygen tent & her blood levels are slowly improving. She's the sweetest dog! Just loves to be held in your arms. Very quiet & loving, approx 7 months old. This one is a true heart breaker. We all had our doubts whether she'd pull through, but it looks like she's going to make it. Can someone give her a very good home? S...

CAN ANYONE ADOPT SUNSHINE? 27th Nov 2011, by Soi Dog Foundation
CAN ANYONE ADOPT SUNSHINE?
She was rescued from the Dog Island Bridge last weekend. She's an absolute treasure! Very sweet, very friendly & just loves human company. She's a small dog who also appears to get on well with other dogs. She's sterlized, vaccinated & ready for a new home. She's currently staying at the WFFT shelter in Cha Am, but we'd really like to find this sweet girl a forever home. She'd make a wonderful pet! Sunshine can be adopted locally or abroad.
See Sunshine on video her...

Australian Soi Dog supporters, you are in for a treat. Monica one of our wonderful volunteers and dear friend has airbrushed a rather special picture of a Soi Dog relaxing in the sun.
Those of you who have been to Thailand would have seen this so often, for me there is nothing more relaxing to be sat on a beach in Phuket, gently listening to a lovely beach dog breathing.
Monica has commissioned 100 Limited Edition Prints of this picture "Sun Basking" we have got a wonderful deal on printing wh...

Sponsor Crisi Today! 27th Nov 2011, by Soi Dog Foundation
One of the most effective ways you can help all the dogs in soi Dog's care is through a monthly sponsorship of one of them. Your sponsorship of around 80 cents a day provides the much needed funding to help carry out the work of helping the neglected and abused animals.
http://www.soidog.org/en/sponsor-a-dog -or-cat/
Crisi is just one of the over 300 dogs at the shelter who you can sponsor.
Crisi was a bag of bones when she was found by an Australian tourist. When brought to Soi Dog, sh...

SOI DOG PROSPECTIVE ADOPTERS - ATTENTION...
Note that a number of veterinarians and other volunteers who have responded to the Bangkok floods will be able to take adopted animals back as companion baggage.
What this means (depending on the airline) is that transportation costs can be as little as $200. HENCE: If you are seriously interested in adopting now is a great time to do it.
Cindy Amey ( cindy@soidog.org ) can be contacted for details.

FLOOD RESCUE DOG "MINNIE" READY FOR ADOPTION!
They don't come any sweeter than little "Minnie". She was rescued from Dog Island & taken straight to a Bangkok vet clinic suffering from diarrhea, dehydration & blood parasite infection. She's still in the clinic, but expected to make a full recovery & be released shortly. We'd love to find Minnie the home of her dreams, rather than sending her back to Dog Island. She slept peacefully in volunteer's arms on the bumpy 3 hour truck ride back to Bangko...

Many thanks for all your positive thoughts for Sweet Pea. Latest blood tests are positive. Had message today advising bill so far nearly 22,000thb over 700$ and we have 10 dogs in private clinics, though apparently this the most expensive in Bangkok but only one that was open 24 hours. Once out of danger will move her.

WE'RE ALL PRAYING FOR SWEET PEA!...
Dear little Sweet Pea was rescued from Dog Island by Soi Dog, she was suffering pneumonia, anemia & blood parasite infection. We drove her back in the truck (nursed all the way by Gill & Cindy) & then admitted her to a very good veterinary hospital in Bangkok. She's currently in an oxygen tent to help with her breathing & being given all the necessary medication. At this stage it is still uncertain if she will pull through, although her blood test results yes...
