Started My New Role In Greencross Phillip Today. W.. 20th Jul 2020, by Dr Rayya's Online Veterinary Journal
Started my new role in Greencross Phillip today. What a great start with such a gorgeous patient. 'Hazel' was full of hugs and great at following cues as she was super treat motivated. She came in for a check up to assess her eye that had discharge. Full eye examination showed she had mild conjunctivitis. Her fashion statement along with her beautiful personality totally won me over. πππ #standardpoodle #vetcheck #vetophthalmology #cutepooch #canineconjunctivitis #GreenCross

Puss' Came In For A Check Up As Her Mom Was Very C.. 24th Jun 2020, by Dr Rayya's Online Veterinary Journal
'Puss' came in for a check up as her mom was very concerned about her ravenous appetite and weight loss in recent months. Her physical exam was normal and she had a blood test. We highly suspect she has an overly active thyroid gland (hyperthyroidism) but must wait for her results. She is seriously one of the most chilled out geriatric cats I've ever come across. She got a medalπ
for her beautiful nature. Can you guess how old she is?!?! πππ #geriatricfeline #felinehypertgyroidism #l...

Teddy' 'Sooty' Melted All Our Hearts At Their Boos.. 23rd Jun 2020, by Dr Rayya's Online Veterinary Journal
'Teddy' & 'Sooty' melted all our hearts at their booster puppy vaccination and health check. Can you cope with this much cuteness?!? So I'm sorry I've not been posting, it's not for lack of photographs but simply a very busy year. Sad to announce I'll be leaving my current practice and moving interstate next week. Thankfully I'm staying with greencross and so can keep tabs on all my long standing patients. Much Love from Rayya The Vet. πππ #rayyathevet #vetmovibg #jackrussellterrier #ja...

Opi' Presented To Me In A Very Debilitated State T.. 29th Nov 2019, by Dr Rayya's Online Veterinary Journal
'Opi' presented to me in a very debilitated state this morning after being attacked by his dog mate out of the blew and unknown cause. He could barely walk, multiple puncture marks on his front legs and neck. He needed treatment for shock with intravenous fluid therapy, pain medication and intravenous antibiotics. Just did his very late vet check and to top up his pain relief. The look of gratitude in his eyes melted my heart. He was able to walk and much more comfortable and asking for food!,π...

June' Came In For A Health Check Up And To Assess .. 27th Nov 2019, by Dr Rayya's Online Veterinary Journal
'June' came in for a health check up and to assess her sore paw. We discovered she has an ear infection and skin allergies causing irritation to her paws. Given she's young, we discussed possibility of underlying food allergy and putting her on an exclusive elimination diet. She is beyond adorable and full of love. I rarely see English sheepdogs and was pretty taken with her! πππ #Englishsheepdog #sheepdog #vetcheck #canineskinallergies #smittenvet

Willis' Came In For A Health Check And Booster Vac.. 19th Nov 2019, by Dr Rayya's Online Veterinary Journal
'Willis' came in for a health check and booster vaccination. He is a super smart and a delightful boy. I soon found out he was treated by me 3 years before when he was only 8 weeks old. We had to anaesthetize him to rule out a fractured front leg (which we did) as he was very lame and screaming in pain during assessment. It was lovely to see him fully grown into such a beautiful pooch. Can you guess his breed? πππ #vetcheck #caninevaccines #adorablepooch

Tipsy' Came In For A Recheck To Ensure Her Mild Ca.. 15th Nov 2019, by Dr Rayya's Online Veterinary Journal
'Tipsy' came in for a recheck to ensure her mild cat flu symptoms had resolved. Her physical exam was normal and she was doing great. She did still spike a temperature but it's likely stress induced as she doesn't enjoy her vet excavations. We let her hang on her fave spot, next to keyboard. We also discussed strategies to help make her future vet visits more amicable eg pheromones, easy cat carries to dismantle. πΊπΈπΊ #kittenhealthcheck #catflu #felineflu #feliway

'Honey' presented to our clinic few weeks ago and was assessed and referred for successful emergency surgery at U-vet. She came in for her staples removal and to assess her wound and recovery. She was full of happy tail wags and so much love which was super heart warming. She's being assessed for further treatment at U-vet which may include chemotherapy.
