WALKING IN ON A SWEET & FUNNY SURPRISE...
Tonight, animal rescue volunteer Karen F. relayed the story of what she saw when she checked in on her 14 year old son whom she asked to please feed the cats who live in the in-law apartment at her home. When she went downstairs, she found that the cats were eating around the table. When she asked him why, his reply was simply, "Aren't they supposed to eat at the dinner table?"

In Avsallar, Turkey, we sponsor the daily feeding and care of hundreds of street cats and dogs. Volunteer Manuela Wroblewski has permanent blisters on her feet for the miles and miles she walks each day feeding these beautiful little souls who are so grateful for the food she brings. SERBIAN WOLF RESCUER NEEDS US

A CHRISTMAS MIRACLE

Tonight, just in time for Christmas, this little guy is on his way to a foster home after a very rough start in life. He was abandoned at a horse racing track by a vet tech who left him behind when the track closed up for winter. PUPPIES RESCUED IN SPAIN - SHIVERING BUT SAFE!
We sent aid to our beloved teammates at ACTIN in Spain. They've pulled all these puppies and several more from the local pound which has DEPLORABLE conditions. The pups are all frightened, but settling in.

OWL SAVED FROM CHIMNEY
A tawny owl is recovering at the Secret World wildlife rescue center in the UK after being saved by firefighters. The owl is sooty but apparently unharmed and is expected to be released back into the wild in the next few weeks. Photo credit: SWNS

FIREWOOD TO COOK HOT MEALS FOR 400 DOGS
This week at Sasha Pecic's free-roaming sanctuary in Serbia, the dogs were wondering, "What are all these logs for?"
