DOG FINDS ORPHANED BABY SKUNK & SAVES A LIFE
Thanks to the help of her dog Ella, Sharon Johnston of Long Beach, California found this baby skunk. When no mother came to retrieve the little one, Sharon wisely called in the professionals.

DUKE THINKS HE'S FOUND AN ANGEL
What else must Duke be thinking this morning? He's one of several animals rescued from a high-kill shelter in South Carolina by the one & only Tracie Mitchum.
Tracie saves the lives of hundreds of animals like Duke each year. She takes on the animals no one else wants to because of the medical care or cost. When an Australian diver spotted a struggling grey nurse shark wrapped in elastic cord, he knew she was in grave danger. A team was quickly assembled to bring the shark to the surface and cut her free.

ICY RESCUE FOR SEAL: HE SWIMS FREE AGAIN!

Fire departments donned their winter water gear to assist the Marine Mammal Stranding Center in rescuing this 3 year old seal who had been trapped on the ice for several days near Atlantic City, New Jersey.

BEST DAY OF HER LIFE THANKS TO YOU!
Look at Charlotte. She just had the best day of her life with a soft bed, a delicious breakfast and a great walk in the park. Charlotte was recently rescued by a small group of heroes who circled around her at a notorious dog dumping ground in Houston, Texas. Charlotte is one of more than 100 dogs who are now safe thanks to a very special team of volunteers who fly under the banner of the Animal Safety League of Northeast Harris County.

UKRAINE'S ZOO ANIMALS SAFE FOR NOW
Just a quick update for all of you who have been asking about the Kharvic Zoo in Ukraine. Last week it was reported that the animals here had only 3 days of food leftover after the political upheaval put a stop to funding.
