FEEDING THE STREET CATS & DOGS IN TURKEY
https://donatenow.networkforgood.org/HarmonyFund
It's not easy work for Manuela Wroblewski who volunteers full time to feed, rescue & care for the street cats and dogs in Avsallar, Turkey. Manuela walks for hours each day, putting down meals for cat after cat and dog after dog. She recognizes so many faces as they wait for her each day. Others are new to the area or just passing by and seem quite surprised that a human is stopping to offer them food. E...

www.HarmonyFund.org
Today we answered a distress call for the Santuhalm shelter which is in dire need and has run out of food for 600 dogs. According to volunteer Guje Syrén, things became dire after the mass propaganda campaign and new law to collect & kill strays.
"People once donated dry food. The super market donated bread and other food. And the animal shop also donated dry food. But after the law was passed, it all came to a stop. People don´t want the dogs now."
As in most Romani...
