CAR STOPS TO SAVE MAMA & PUP IN POURING RAIN
Rescuer Edina Pasic of Sarajevo was driving back home from a rescue when she came upon an unexpected mission to save two more.
"On our way back the rain was poring and it was dark," Edina said. "We dove slowly because the road was horrible. No houses, no living beings, just cars rushing by. ROMANIAN RESCUE MISSION IN FULL SWING
Over the last 24 hours we have sent donations to several Romanian dog orphanages. Truthfully, each is bursting at the seams with so many animals to feed and so many more that they feed on the street. This beautiful horse named Pippilottaspotslongstocking just arrived at Tomten Farm and Sanctuary after being rescued from meat auction. MOTHER DUCK HAILS FIREFIGHTERS TO SAVE HER DUCKLINGS
Fort Lauderdale, Florida firefighters were out on training exercises when they were summoned by a panicked mother duck. Her ducklings had fallen into a 4-inch drainpipe and she was pacing frantically above it.
The guys didn't have many options, so they decided to try a shop vacuum. Sure enough, one at a time, the featherweight ducklings were lifted to the surface and reunited with their mama.

IF I COULD BOTTLE HAPPINESS ....
This is the home of the beloved Romanian rescuer Norica Prigoana. The pup wrapped in a towel is Panda whom she took in last week after he had been reportedly laying on the ground for a few days after being hit by a car. People were afraid of him. Yes, hard to believe, this little paralyzed pup received no help until Norica came along.
But now, Panda is settling in and already making friends. The first veterinary visits are already complete and a set of wheels...

RESCUED IN EGYPT
Meet Sylvester, a cat who has been living on a rooftop in Egypt with many other homeless cats. He has an eye that was injured by a cat claw either during play or aggression. But Sylvester is about to embark on an uncommon journey. Tonight we answered the distress call asking for help with his transportation costs. He'll be traveling to the UK to his new foster mom's home where he can get both care and protection.

Isn't this beautiful! Here you see a rescued dog from Bosnia meeting his new "mom" in Denmark. We've just made a donation to help the rescue team known as Marianne's Dog Food Bank bring another 3 months worth of donated food over to Bosnia. The dogs will have enough food to last through the first of February, and the lucky ones, will find homes as wonderful as this one. Just look at what a difference a little love makes!

HOW DID STUBBY FIND A SEAT AT THE BREAKFAST TABLE?
Little Stubby was in BIG trouble just a few weeks ago. He was trapped in the woods with fresh wounds on his body and half his tail missing. If he somehow survived the infection, the long winter would have been waiting.
But thanks to volunteer Gretchen, Stubby was caught in a humane trap and rushed to the veterinarian. He is now in excellent health and sitting at the breakfast table at his new home. Yes, Stubby actually has his pick of chairs ...
