ROMANIAN RESCUER NEAR COLLAPSE NEEDS US TO GRANT HER WISH

WOMAN ABANDONS HER DOG IN ROAD AFTER HE IS HIT BY A CAR
Tonight we learned of Meda, a dog in Serbia who was hit by a car yesterday while his "owner" was walking him on a leash. Apparently a car came down the street very quickly and the woman just barely managed to get out of the way, but for her dog, there simply wasn't enough time. IT'S NEVER TOO LATE
The forgotten dogs of Bosnia come in all shapes and sizes. This little one is deaf and has hip dysplasia. Yes, clearly an elderly dog, but it's never too late to learn what it's like to be loved.
It costs us thousands of dollars a month to rescue dogs from the most extreme forms of abuse and to provide food and veterinary care. The dogs we rescue owe you everything. You, each one of you, are the reason they are alive today.

ITS GOING TO BE OK BABY....
This dog was a bait-dog of sorts. Rescuer Caki Bravo had to buy him from his Romani "owners" for 30 Euros. There was no other way to save his life. Do you have any doubt that this dog is thankful as he waits at the veterinary office. What you can't see in this photo, is the massive wound on his lower back. It's too graphic for most animal lovers and we deliberately left that out.

ROMANIAN SHELTER HAS RUN OUT OF FOOD
We've received a distress call that the Max Dog shelter in Romania ran out of food yesterday. They are also behind on rent and in danger of eviction. The total cost to feed all the animals this month, pay the rent and get the veterinary bills taken care of is just under $2,500 (US). Can we do it?

HELP FOR LINA's RESCUE IN SERBIA
Thanks to the AMAZING members of the Harmony Fund we were able to provide some help this morning to Lina's Rescue in Serbia. Our wonderful supporter Myra Gordon came to us with an urgent request. She said that food had run out at this animal shelter and there were a lot of hungry animals wondering why they hadn't been fed. That's one problem we certainly can fix.
