KEEPING THE DOGS FED & WARM IN BOSNIA
At the Hresa dog pound in Bosnia, the dogs would be extremely hungry and cold if it weren't for their guardian angel Lela who spends evenings and weekends tending to their care. Again this month, we are sending funds to help Lela make sure that the dogs won't go hungry.

IT'S SUPER COLD, BUT THE CATS WILL BE WARM
Harmony Fund is again responding to a heating crisis in Serbia where 125 cats are counting on us to keep them warm within the safety of the Felix Cat Sanctuary.

UPDATE: 5 MORE CATS RESCUED IN BOSNIAN FREEZE
Many of you have been following our cat rescue operation in Bosnia. Twenty-one house cats were abandoned in the snow during frigid weather when their guardian simply put them outside and moved away for good. Today another five have been rescued, bringing the total to 16.

SNOW FAIRY CRADLES DOG IN -16 DEGREES
It can take hours for Norica Prigoana to shake the cold out of her bones at the end of the day. After all, being the "snow fairy" at a Romanian dog shelter does not come with a sparkling gown or glittering crown. Most days she's mopping kennel floors, scrubbing food bowls and, yes, kissing foreheads too. EXTREME COLD JUST HOURS AWAY - DOG RESCUE SPREE!
We are managing a flurry of rescues tonight. A cold front bringing -20 temperatures is headed for Romania,Bulgaria and Bosnia. This dog saved from the street in Sarajevo tonight is just one of the lucky ones who will not freeze to death tomorrow night.

DOG RESCUES IN DEADLY COLD ...
We are managing a flurry of dangerous situations tonight. A cold front bringing -20 temperatures is headed for Romania,Bulgaria and Bosnia. In fact, one of the shelters in Bosnia suffered a fire last week. Although all the dogs are unharmed, the shelter caretaker's home has been badly damaged. She's feeling quite alone tonight and without hope, but we hope that perhaps together we can turn things around.

Poochie (nicknamed King) was found on the street and put into a Bosnian dog pound where he was very frightened. Rescuers literally had to push him in a wheelbarrow because he would not walk.

1,300+ ANIMALS TO LOSE ELECTRICITY DURING WINTER COLD
We have received deeply worrying news from the animal shelter in Donetsk, Ukraine which houses more than 1,300 dogs and cats - many left behind by refugees during violent bombings last year. WINTER FOOD DRIVE IN FULL SWING!
Tonight, our food drive stops at the "Bosnian Dream Shelter" where 107 dogs are going to bed with full bellies. This refuge for dogs has only two days food left, but now, they'll be able to purchase a new supply in the morning. This is one of dozens of underdog rescue centers we're sponsoring this month as winter sets in.
