Neighbors in one Pogradeci, Alabania neighborhood recently called rescuers to report that a dog was being beaten and raped. This beautiful dog was living chained outside where witnesses saw the abuse. As soon as she learned of the violence, rescuer Ana Karmelic immediately sent her veterinarian to confiscate the chained dog before she died of the abuse.

MONDAY DELIGHT
At our mini sanctuary near Harmony Fund headquarters, the critters are starting the day with a great deal of joy. The cats have a fully enclosed outdoor area so that they can enjoy the fresh air without the risk of predators, killing small wildlife or wandering into the street. The house bunnies have their own outdoor enclosure for play time as well, and they kindly share with the guinea pigs. And of course, the dogs here rule the roost.

This puppy is the sole survivor from his litter. He and his mom are living in Turkey and have caught the attention of our street feeding team. The other puppies from the litter have disappeared and were most likely the victim of car accidents. Yesterday we asked for your help with a mother dog and her puppies left by the side of a busy road in Bosnia. Upon seeing photos of their location, we sent a rescuer out to search for them and bring them to safety. It took some time, but all five are now safe.

We were just asked to help this mother dog and her four puppies who were dumped along a busy road in Zenica, Bosnia. The four puppies are out of the cardboard box in which they were deposited. When this thin hunting dog turned up in Busovaca,Croatia we asked for your help in providing veterinary care to remove the buckshot pellets from his legs, repairing an injured leg and routine care to rid him of ticks and worms. Thanks to all of you, he's now doing wonderfully.
