Another family of cats saved from a violent attack in Turkey. We've just sent more funding to volunteer Manuela Wroblewski stationed in Avsallar, but what she needs most is reinforcements - qualified volunteers to help in the feeding and care of street animals here. To inquire about adopting a cat from Turkey or spending time offering hands-on support - or if you work with a US rescue group who could possibly coordinate quarterly adoptions for a handful of cats, please visit the dedicated Facebo...

Annie Statton writes, "Recently I have become involved with trying to catch an injured fox. We have a cage waiting outside to tempt her inside. This poor fox is hobbling around on 3 legs. She follows me around the streets at night when I walk the dog ,so I'm hoping she'll do her usual trick and follow me home. If and when she is caught she will be taken to secret world wildlife centre for treatment. Fingers crossed !!!"
Let's lend our support and prayers to Annie as she does her best to help ...

Brambleberry (pictured here with Sabrina) was rescued 3 years ago from a feral colony that was under attempted extermination. Three years later, extraordinary circumstances gave us an opportunity to save his brother who was still living outside and had returned to the area. His brother, now named Huckleberry, lives in a cozy barn sanctuary near our headquarters.
We are so grateful for all the opportunities we have to save homeless cats near and far. The whole month of December will be devo...

CATS RESCUED FROM MEAT TRUCK GET MORE HELP!
A second donation was just sent to China to help in the recovery of 500 cats rescued from the meat truck. It's nothing short of a miracle that a police officer stumbled upon this truck and we are in awe of the faithful volunteers who blockaded the truck for hours negotiating a surrender of the cats.
We are tremendously GRATEFUL to all of the Harmony Fund supporters who reached out and made donations today to help these cats as part of "Operati...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bMnrA_KNnPY&feature =youtu.be
A few months ago when Buddy, a black lab mix, was found running down Maybank Highway on John’s Island, South Carolina. It quickly became apparent that something was wrong with his eyes, and it turned out that he needed surgery to repair the eyelashes that were pointing inward in a birth defect that made it feel as though he had gravel beneath his eyelids. Volunteer Tracie Mitchum was able to secure a deep discount for the procedure...

Today we are thankful for all the everyday heroes among us.

Then one day, tragedy struck and the littlest dog ran into the road at the wrong moment. With more determination than ever, the woman was able to lure the surviving dog into her garage with food. She called in Ed Kostro, a seasoned rescuer, and he arrived to find more than he expected...
