SAVE 85% FEEDING STRAY DOGS

You guessed right. There's not really a "sale" but sometimes a sense of humor helps. We are indeed suffering from an 85% drop in donations during the month of July.
Summer does bring us so many blessings, but it's a bit of a tough time to raise funds. We haven't been able to respond to as many pleas for help as normal, but tonight, we took a little leap of faith and sent a small donation to Romania to feed these dogs.
Here's hoping that August...

Here you see Ilor comfort Bazou. After living in a wooden box for 16 years, Bazou doesn't understand normal chimpanzee language and will often holler out with distress calls when he is experiencing joy. He simply never learned the language of his species as he lived in isolation. We've just begun Chimp Week and word has arrived from Limbe Wildlife Center in Cameroon that three weeks of heavy rain have brought new challenges. GREYHOUNDS HIT BY MUDSLIDES NOW HAVE HELP
Yesterday, we were able to facilitate some help for the Pepis Dog Refuge in Spain after a series of mud slides and other tragedies impacted this haven. Funds will be used to relocate the dog out of the high-risk zone for further slides. In the photo here, you see two former hunting dogs that were left tied to the front gate one day.
