Authority of Kuala Kanhsar District (Perak) has agreed to collaborate with ISPCA for TNR(M) program. A discussion is to be held with animal rescue group/ volunteers of Kuala Kangsar to exchange ideas on the effective implementation of TNR(M).

Lucky's flight to his new adopter's home at England has been postponed for a few months sine March due to Covid-19 and MCO.
TOday, after finalizing all the documents and forms, Lucky will be flying with another dog to Kucing, Sarawak on August 14.

Today the ISPCA committee and MCA city councillor Albert Ho Wai Mun visited the Ipoh Town Mayor Dato' Ahmad Suaidi to talk about the problem of over-population of strays.
The mayor has been paying attention to the TNRM program that has neutered over 3200 stray dogs, and definitely support this method of controlling the number of strays.
MBI will also continue to work with NGOs in order to effectively control the number of strays in Ipoh.

There is limited space at shelters, staff members sometimes need to make very hard decisions to euthanize animals who haven't been adopted. The number of euthanized animals could be reduced dramatically if more people adopted pets instead of buying them.

Chemicals were suspected to be poured/splashed to this poor dog, currently it is sent for treatment.
Cases like this often happen whereby the suspect doing it was always not identified. All we can do is to send the poor animals for immediate treatment.

Nody is a Malay college student, and there are 7 stray dogs in her residential area. The nearby residents are willing to give them food, but Nody hopes that the stray dogs won't reproduce (increase the number of strays in the area) and avoid being captured by the MBI. Nody launched a fundraising event for the strays' (TNR) birth control plan. Although fundraising is very limited, ISPCA is very grateful for Nody’s kind action and provides all microchips and red collars for free.

Ipoh City Council (Majlis Bandaraya Ipoh) has received complaints about dog cages on walkways which causes inconveniences. Upon arrival, it was found that there were a dog and its 11 new born puppies.
All the puppies including the mother dog was handed over to ISPC to be brought back to shelter.
ISPCA will take care of the puppies until they are ready to be adopted. As for the mother dog, she will be neutered under TNR program and to be released back to original location to be continuously fed...

An injured dog was found by one of our volunteers in Ipoh around Menglembu area, it was sent to veterinary clinic to be treated and neutered (Under TNR).

怡保防止虐待动物协会(中途站) 护所
Thanks to the public's donation, the animals in the shelter have a warm meal.
Thanks to the volunteers for their help, the dogs were able to enjoy their day with baths and walks.
ISPCA currently has more than 180 dogs, including 30 stray puppies captured by the MBI. For the time being, the shelter won't be accepting new dogs for accomodation. There will be room for further containment after some of the dogs from the shelter were ...

This is one of our most heartbroken rescues. Half of its face including its eyeball was maggot-infested.
With the help of a few volunteers from Silibin, we immediately sent it to veterinary clinic for treatment. But unfortunately, this poor furkid couldn't make it.
We hope that it will now have a better after life without needing to suffer anymore.

Elina from Russia has been voluntarily feeding 2 strays during her stay in Ipoh. However, these 2 furbabies was taken away by Ipoh City Council (MBI) last week. Elina asked around for help and even drove all the way to Papan Landfill to look for them.
Through help of some friends, she found out that they have been handed over to ISPCA and today, they finally reunited at our shelter.
Now this 2 furbabies (Shaqina and Brazil) have finally returned to Elina's

It has now recovered a lot after treatment given and taken good care of by our volunteer, Ms Nazirah
