A few days ago, a volunteer from Butterworth, Penang has asked ISPCA for help. We were told that there are more than 10 stray dogs which are in a chinese temple are currently having insufficient food. Thus, they are sent to SPCA Perai Shelter, ISPCA(IPOH) has agreed to help these strays as well by donating 100kg of our shelter’s dog food for them to solve this current issue.

Ispca Received A Phone Call From Mr Bryan This Aft..

ISPCA received a phone call from Mr Bryan this afternoon. According to him, a dog had given birth to a few puppies under a tree in front of his house. Mr Bryan and his neighbors have had several attempts trying to rescue and send them to a safer place but however, the mother dog was very protective and no one is able to reach them. Hence they contacted ISPCA for help.

A few days ago, there were five puppies being abandoned in front of ISPCA gate.
our hopes :
1) public will not abandon their pets or any rescued animals, especially to ISPCA shelter area as there are quite a number of monitor lizards nearby.
2) Resources, manpower, food and place not enough.

Remember this poor little fellow?
Last month we found it abandoned and alone, volunteers took it in temporarily into our shelter. Today it was adopted by a lovely family with a lovely name, "Happy".

They Have A New Name "Stingray" & "Rainbow"

These two strays were rescued from Cameron Highland. One of them was kicked into the river and fractured its front leg. After medication and care, the volunteer sent them to the shelter to stay for about 2 months. They are now adopted by a theme park with a new job , a new home and a new name "Stingray" & "Rainbow", After evening, they will join their fellow security to do their job.

Mr Kalaiselvan Heard A Faint Meow From The Pipes I..

Mr Kalaiselvan heard a faint meow from the pipes in his yard. The fire brigade saw open the pipes and saved three kittens from inside. Mr Kalaiselvan sent the kittens tk ISPCA shelter for three-months temporary care, waiting for someone to adopt them. If tge kittens are not adopted in three months, ISPCA will take care of then until they are old enough to be neutered, and release them back to where they come from.

Since April, the collaborated MBI-ISPCA TNR (M) program has now implemented the neutering work on 500 stray dogs, with microchips implanted. Special thanks to all the kind hearted public, veterinary surgeon and MBI for all the support.
With the good response from all parties, ISPCA has decided to order 500 extra sets of TNR microchips, collar and tag.

There is a neighbour reported Veterinary Ipoh (DVS) that a German shepherd was abandoned by the owner. Veterinary Ipoh and ISPCA went to the reported address to check and confirmed that there is a very thin dog. The male owner cannot be contact. Finally with the neighbors to help, the gate can finally be opened and the dog that is starved near to death had been sent to a veterinarian for health check and later on sent to our shelter.

Today the 4 strays are released back to where they came from. Since they already underwent TNR, the residents are glad to see the dogs come back, and they wouldn't have to worry about overpopulation of stray dogs in their area.

A Few Days Ago Rainy Day, Ispca Received Call From..

A few days ago (Rainy day), ISPCA received call from another animal rescue organization (which up till now, still occupying part of ISPCA shelter). According to them, there were five puppies being abandoned in front of ISPCA gate. They asked us to immediately come for the rescue.
However, when our committee and some volunteers reached our shelter, there were only 3 puppies to be seen, we suspect the two were eaten by nearby monitor lizards.

Let’s Change Their Fate Together《一起改写牠的命运。》

Starting from 1st April, there’s approximately 400 strays undergone the ISPCA TNR program, with microchips implanted into them.
This response from public is great and this amount of strays under TNR program is almost reaching the agreed amount with MBI side. ISPCA would like to thank all those supporting the program.
Up until now, we have already started the second phase of TNR program and ISPCA hopes that the public will continue show their support.
