Indigenous and coastal communities in Sabah’s Tun Mustapha Park rely on the ocean to provide for them, both as a source of food and livelihoods. Mostly fishing communities, their daily catch of fish from the sea or shellfish from reef gleaning activities during low tide are used mainly for their own consumption.
