Dyk What Animals Are These?. Hint They Are Social,.. 30th Jul 2022, by WWF Malaysia
It’s an otter civet (Cynogale bennettii), captured by the Sarawak Conservation Programme Wildlife Conservation team on camera trap. It is actually a civet and not an otter, but spends most of its time in semi-aquatic environments. All civet species are protected under the Sarawak Wild Life Protection Ordinance 1998. The photo of this species brought much excitement to the team as it is indeed rare in Borneo.
