On 13 March 2015, we organised a World Wildlife Day event at Lok Kawi Wildlife Park, Penampang. It was a collaboration with Sabah Wildlife Department. Seven secondary schools from Kota Kinabalu took part in three World Wildlife Day contests which were held for an entire month before the event. At the event we announced the winners of essay, poster, and photography contests.

From 9-23 March 2015, MYCAT will be competing in an international voting contest organised by the European Outdoor Conservation Association to save Malayan Tigers, where the project with the most votes win a grant.
If MYCAT wins, they will be granted EUR30,000 to expand the Citizen Action for Tigers (CAT) program and increase protection for tigers at the Sungai Yu Wildlife Corridor in Pahang, as well as continue working with local communities to save wildlife.
