Earth Hour 2015 In Selangor 2nd Apr 2015, by WWF Malaysia
Earth Hour in Selangor was celebrated in Sunway Pyramid with a night walk to raise awareness on the need to change climate change this 2015.
A unique energy free “step style” flash mob accompanied by drummers was performed by volunteer dancers, and the night walk participants were accompanied by unicyclists and jugglers that glowed in the dark.

Earth Hour 2015 In Kudat 2nd Apr 2015, by WWF Malaysia
Earth Hour 2015 in Kudat included a Women Leaders Forum which aimed to highlight the roles of women in nature conservation through case studies and to provide a platform for women in nature conservation to know each other.
This was followed by a Tun Mustapha Park (TMP) Run to raise awareness on climate change issues and garner support for the establishment of TMP as an Marine Protected Area.
The day ended with a lucky draw and performances to celebrate lights off.

Earth Hour 2015 Penang 1st Apr 2015, by WWF Malaysia
Earth Hour took place for the second time in Penang, this time with a 3.0 km Earth Hour Night Walk on 28 March 2015. A team was sent out prior to the walk to encourage shop owners along the walk route to pledge to turn off their non-essential lights and electrical appliances in support of Earth Hour. Penang State Executive Councillor for Local Government, Traffic Management and Flood Mitigation, YB Tuan Chow Kon Yeow also joined in to walk with the people.

Remember to bring your own water bottles to the Earth Hour Night Walk in Sunway Pyramid. Water dispensers will be provided so you can refill your bottles before and after the walk.

#Didyouknow: The United Nation states that the right of every human being to have access to sufficient water for personal and domestic uses is between 50 - 100 litres of water per person per day.
An average Malaysian uses about of 200 litres/day which is among the highest in the region. Changing the way we think and learning how to manage our water, as well as having the knowledge and skills to take the necessary actions are critical steps in helping to ensure the country’s water security.
