A few representatives from our Marine team attended the 5th International Marine Conservation Congress (IMCC) in Kuching, Sarawak.

Protecting habitats and biodiversity conservation for food security and human well-being is WWF-Malaysia's ultimate goal for Tun Mustapha Park (TMP), the largest marine park in Malaysia.

WWF-Malaysia dengan kerjasama Jabatan Hidupan Liar, WAPO dan GREENs telah mengadakan program kesedaran penyu di bawah payung Jelajah Hari Penyu Sedunia bersama komuniti selama tiga hari di Pulau Omadal, Kulapuan dan Boheyan.

WWF-Malaysia recently facilitated the Tabin Management Plan Revision Workshop organised by the Sabah Forestry Department, where the aim was to get feedback from relevant stakeholders on the solutions to address threats to the Tabin Wildlife Reserve in Sabah.
Feedback from this workshop will feed into the revision of the Tabin Wildlife Reserve Management Plan.

Bajau Laut Children Turtle Presentation 27th Jun 2018, by WWF Malaysia
'Si Bokko Kalasahan Ku' means ‘My lovely turtle’ in Bajau. It's also the name of the July roadshow by the Sabah Wildlife Department and WWF-Malaysia.
It was kicked off with a presentation of marine turtle threats to Bajau Laut children and women on Omadal island, this roadshow celebrates marine turtles for World Sea Turtle Day.

A destroyed coral reef is a destroyed turtle home. Protecting coral reefs would protect the marine turtles that live there. 'Si Bokko Kalasahan Ku' means ‘My lovely turtle’ in Bajau. It's also the name of the July roadshow by the Sabah Wildlife Department and WWF-Malaysia.
