Tiger Family
27th Jul 2018, by WWF Malaysia

We are sharing never-before-seen footage of a tiger family in Sumatra! A tigress (Rima) and her three cubs were caught on camera trap in Central Sumatra, a part of the Tropical Rainforest Heritage of Sumatra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Tiger cubs are born blind. This is the iconic photo of the last tiger of Cambodia captured in 2007. Because of traps set by poachers everywhere, tigers are now functionally extinct in the country. His story is a reminder of the fight we are still battling for wild tigers against organised crime syndicates and complacency. Get connected and tell his story. #GlobalTigerDay #connect2tigers #doubletigers #TX2 panda.org/connect2tigers
