Tigers can “breed like cats” - but only under the right conditions! A new study of 18 key sites by 49 tiger experts show that wild tiger numbers in these areas could triple given strong protection and site management, amid other critical conditions, showing much untapped potential in tiger conservation.

WWF-Malaysia and WWF-Indonesia recently went back in action together in Baleh, Song and Katibas, Kapit Division to conduct Panda CLICK! monitoring.
During our trip to these areas, interactive refresher training sessions took place to help improve Panda CLICK! participants’ image-making techniques. Some of the photo taken by the participants exceeded our expectations given that they had just learned basic photography four months ago.

We are deeply concerned by China’s announcement to allow the use of tiger bone and rhino horn from captive bred animals by hospitals and trade in antique tiger and rhino products. This is bad news for endangered tigers and rhinos in the wild, due to the risk of stimulating demand and illegal products from wild animals entering the markets as well.
