#DYK Female green turtles lay between 80 to 130 eggs at a time and leave them in the sand for nearly 2 months before they hatch. Once the turtles have hatched, the hatchlings must crawl to the water and avoid a multitude of predators, including large fish, birds and crabs.They are very independent and brave little ones.

Wwf-Australia Has Estimated That 1.25 Billion Nati.. 15th Jan 2020, by WWF Malaysia
WWF-Australia has estimated that 1.25 billion native animals have been killed or injured in the bushfires which include Australian's iconic species such as kangaroos, koalas, wallabies, cockatoos and many more.
