SATURDAY CRIME NIGHT – ABUSED PUPPY’S MIRACULOUS SECOND CHANCE AT LIFE In the UK earlier this year, four boys under the age of 16 and under the influence of drugs, stole a puppy, fed him drugs, kicked and punched him, and wrung and broke his neck. NATIVE WILDLIFE RESCUE ROUNDUP: 27 NOVEMBER 2015 1. (Left top) Momma is a water monitor lizard who was found stuck and injured in a shallow drain by the roadside. She had lost some blood, possibly from a collision with a vehicle, and was in shock when we rescued her. With some fluids and rest overnight, she had perked up by the morning, and we were relieved to find that she had not suffered any major/internal injuries and was all good to be released! 2. (Left bottom) Pottu is a pitta who wa...

A STEP IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION FOR DOLPHINS Thanks to concerned members of the public speaking up and making their concerns known, Village Roadshow has publicly stated that they will not acquire wild-caught animals for their upcoming attractions planned for China, South-East Asia and Russia.
