This is the iguanas’ water baths. Living in captivity and/or indoors may cause iguanas to experience an incomplete shedding condition. While daily misting aids the shedding process, some iguanas may require warm water baths and massage sessions to remove old debris.

PROHIBITED SPECIES KEPT IN A FARM
Based on a tip-off received by our ACIU (Animal Crime Investigation Unit), our investigations revealed a farm in Lim Chu Kang housing several turtles of prohibited species, including pig-nosed turtles and pond turtles, who were also housed in sub-optimal conditions. The findings were handed over to the AVA for enforcement action.

SKITTLES, THE RETIC IN A BASKET
Went in to check for items to recycle? Wanted the shoe or the box or the carton? We would never know as Skittles doesn’t speak the language we understand - we only can guess that he could have taken that spot, awaiting a rodent meal to come by.
