“Freedom is the right of all sentient beings.” – Optimus Prime
Kurina Yonezawa, an Animal advocate and an amazing cook, flew in from Japan to share about effects of factory farming and her connections with chickens to 40 primary school students.
As Kurina shared a touching and sentimental story of her chickens, the students became engrossed that they pulled their chairs closer to her, some whipped out their phones to record.

Turtles Boltz Pictured, Andrea, Ayu, Audrey And To..

Turtles Boltz (pictured), Andrea, Ayu, Audrey and tortoises, Comot and Comet, were repatriated back to Malaysia last year. It was a much-deserved second chance at life, following their harrowing experience as victims in the black market trade of exotic pets in #Singapore.
And so, the ACRES Wildlife Rescue Centre continues to be the halfway house for rescued exotics like Boltz and friends to, where possible, return these sentient beings where they truly belong--home!
