2020, HERE WE COME!
It has been a crazy 2019 for all of us at ACRES.
Apart from having the highest record of over a thousand calls in November to our 24-hr #WildlifeRescue hotline, we also embarked on new challenges.
We revamped our avian housing area, repatriated more animals, erected brand new enclosures to hand-raise and rehabilitate native wildlife such as squirrels, civets and even otters (for a short period).

THE NEED FOR KINDNESS AND COEXISTENCE
Our 24-hour wildlife rescue hotline received a call for a mynah who was seen dangling from a unit’s laundry pole stand in Yishun. Our rescue officers were shocked to learn from the unit’s resident that the mynah was deliberately hung from the pole to teach the mynah (and other mynahs) a lesson so they can “learn” not to enter her kitchen.
