2020 was extraordinary year for most. Covid-19 changed many of our lives in more ways than one. For us at ACRES, we had to make changes to how our team worked with half working from home. We also lost an fellow ACRES family member which affected all of us. Fortunately, our 24-hour wildlife rescue carried on as essential services. With minimal manpower and just a small handful of dedicated volunteers, we managed to carry on as usual. We did not let Covid-19 hamper our efforts to help the voiceles...

[Not Moving But Hopefully Soon!]

Meet Aladdin, a Malaysian giant turtle who likes to bask on his ramp. We hope that like Barni, a Malaysian giant turtle who we repatriated last year to Malaysia, Aladdin will also be reunited to the wild again! We are looking forward to working with the Malaysian Wildlife Department (Perhilitan) when travel restrictions are lifted over time!
#Aladdin is amongst the 40 over exotic turtles in our care at our wildlife rescue centre. Consider being an Animal Guardian (give.asia/animalguardiansacres)...
