PRESS RELEASE3 October 2011 ACRES SUPPORTS THE SETTING UP OF DOLPHIN RESCUE CENTRES AND THE RESCUE OF WINTER SINGAPORE, 3 October 2011 – ACRES strongly supports the rescue of Winter, a dolphin who was injured and lost her tail in a crab trap in Florida, USA. Winter was eventually fitted with a prosthetic appendage to replace the tail. The children wowed us with their skit on illegal wildlife trade and we are delighted that they learnt so much from their previous visit to the AWRC.
