PRESS RELEASE3 October 2011 ACRES SUPPORTS THE SETTING UP OF DOLPHIN RESCUE CENTRES AND THE RESCUE OF WINTER SINGAPORE, 3 October 2011 – ACRES strongly supports the rescue of Winter, a dolphin who was injured and lost her tail in a crab trap in Florida, USA. Winter was eventually fitted with a prosthetic appendage to replace the tail. A big thank you to Odyssey The Global Preschool for inviting us to watch their pupils' showcase. The children wowed us with their skit on illegal wildlife trade and we are delighted that they learnt so much from their previous visit to the AWRC. We were especially touched by the video they made for us. Thank you to the teachers, children and parents of Odyssey!
