This piece of art, The Reapers, was carefully created by MAHLSTIK for ACRES and would be up for bidding during the event, Animal Day @ 313: Animals In-Sync. All profits would come directly to ACRES to help fund our Wildlife Protection programmes.

The Reapers
If mankind, so scared of death, that we even imagine and create an icon for it, the Death Reaper, why then, do they not understand, that when mankind murder animals, directly or indirectly. We are being Death Reapers ourselves.
What rights do we have, to kill animals for pleasure and profit? Intelligence? Did intelligence give us the rights?

Ric O'Barry and ACRES visited the RWS office today to personally hand them letters (concerning their wild-caught dolphins) that they have failed to reply to or for which they did not respond to the concerns raised. Thank you to Lynn Lee from RWS for receiving us and agreeing to hand over the letters to her CEO. We did request for a meeting with the RWS CEO but he unfortunately declined to meet us.
