It's great to see so many schools and kindergartens here in Singapore including animal protection issues in their lessons and inviting ACRES to talk to their students. Marine animals of all shapes and sizes- from sharks and smaller fish to turtles and dolphins- were in the spotlight today when we gave two talks about marine animal protection at Overseas Family School, kicking off their "Sharing the Planet" unit of enquiry. We had a great time talking to the students and hearing their ideas about how we can all help to protect the animals who live in the oceans! Thank you to the students and staff at OFS for their warm welcome!

At today's Volunteer Orientation, the Community Outreach Team shared ACRES' six focus areas and the work we do. The welfare concerns on bear farming, one of the hot topics, captured the hearts of the 10 individuals who made the choice to be the voice for the non-speaking species.
