Back to Lao PDR to continue our efforts in ending bear farming there. It’s been 29 months since I first visited Lao PDR and met my first bear in a bear farm. This 13th trip to Lao PDR is dedicated to this bear who held my hand and wanted nothing but compassion and affection despite all the cruelty we humans have inflicted on her. She died the next day after we held hands. Rest assured my friend, you will not be forgotten and your death will not be in vain… We promise.

It's great to see so many schools and kindergartens here in Singapore including animal protection issues in their lessons and inviting ACRES to talk to their students. Today we were at Chatsworth International School (Orchard) to talk about the needs of animals and why wild animals are not pets.
