The ACRES Wildlife Rescue Team received a call where a snake was caught in the house. When the team arrived, they were utterly dismayed to find the snake had been clubbed to death in fear.
According to the caller, the Paradise Tree snake leapt from the tree that is barely 3 feet away from the corridor, and headed straight into his room. On April 26th around 7:30am, Nad, of the Hindhede group of long-tailed macaques was struck by an automobile and immediately perished. "Rodents? Leave them to us," said Munchkins, the reticulated python who was in the middle of digesting his lunch.
The town council called in their pest control who safely contained Munchkins and handed him over to us- along with his lunch- a huge rat who was regurgitated.
The eternally hungry rescue officers 'Ta Pao-ed' his lunch and delivered it after the python was released. Their appetite, sad to say, was 'released' too.
