An adult monitor lizard, with a length of around 1.2m, was found in a 1.5m deep drain. Her belly, a circumference of probably 55cm, seemed gravid with eggs.
While some passers-by reported individuals prodding with sticks and throwing stones, there were others who defended the monitor lizard's life.

An injured monitor lizard was found near a nature reserve along Bukit Timah road. Upon closer inspection, maggots and fly eggs were found in his nostril, near his ears, at his lips and his wounds.
Miller, the lizard, was survived a possible attack on him. And where his old puncture and gash wounds were, there was maggots infestation. The attack may have been a struggle with another animal.
Miller is now going through critical care. More updates to come!

Villa, a young pigeon, was found on an overhead bridge.
Alert without visible disabilities or injuries, Villa, who was seen with two other pigeons this afternoon, was nicely fed by something other then the untouched bread given by the caller. Her crop was nice and full!
The rescue team decided to leave Villa there as her family was discovered roosting right under the bridge.
Big thanks to the caller and her mother who will help continue to look out for her!

The ACRES Wildlife Rescue Team received a call where a snake was caught in the house. When the team arrived, they were utterly dismayed to find the snake had been clubbed to death in fear.
According to the caller, the Paradise Tree snake leapt from the tree that is barely 3 feet away from the corridor, and headed straight into his room.
