Big smiles to Da Qiao Primary School, where today the students and staff are doing their bit for animals and the environment by having a Veggie Thursday!
We were very happy to be invited to give a presentation to the students earlier this week about the benefits of going meat-free for one day a week (or more!)
Find out more about the Veggie Thursday movement in Singapore here http://www.veggiethursday.sg/

Donation Appeal: Wildlife Rescue Van
Being on the road for approximately 10 hours every day, it’s not surprising our wildlife rescue van needs a little bit of TLC sometimes.

Be animal conscious: Don’t use glue traps!
Glue traps spell a death sentence for any animal who becomes caught in their sticky grasp. And it’s inevitably a cruel, slow death. So, please don’t use them!
One animal who had a lucky escape from a glue trap was Sniffer the plantain squirrel. Poor Sniffer became trapped on a glue board that had been set up to trap him in an office and, seeing his suffering, the office staff realised it was a mistake and called ACRES for help. It took 3 rou...
