Today, we share with you positive news of Suzzie. She has been recovering well and we have recently sighted her troop. Many are concerned if Suzzie is imprinted to humans since she has been undergoing rehabilitation since January this year. Fret not!natural enrichments and minimal human contact kept her very much wild. Preparations towards her big release is very crucial now but here's a short glimpse at how Suzzie is doing!

Part of our work in ACRES involves in the rehabilitation of our rescued animals from the illegal wildlife trade. This week, we made some changes to our medium-sized male Star tortoise enclosures. We made changes to this enclosure in particular, as this group were adapting very well to the outdoor environment. They have also showed increased levels of activity.
