Today, we share with you positive news of Suzzie. She has been recovering well and we have recently sighted her troop. Many are concerned if Suzzie is imprinted to humans since she has been undergoing rehabilitation since January this year. Fret not!natural enrichments and minimal human contact kept her very much wild. Preparations towards her big release is very crucial now but here's a short glimpse at how Suzzie is doing!

That downpour sure didn't dampen the spirits of our wildlife warriors running to raise funds for ACRES, whilst most of us were still fast asleep in bed on an early Sunday morning. Thank you Samuel, Kelvin, Jocelyn, Sabrina & Liz!
ACRES is the only charity organisation in Singapore that does wildlife rescue. Actively reaching out to spread awareness and to tackle wildlife crime in Singapore!

Part of our work in ACRES involves in the rehabilitation of our rescued animals from the illegal wildlife trade. This week, we
made some changes to our medium-sized male Star tortoise enclosures. We made changes to this enclosure in particular, as this group were adapting very well to the outdoor environment. Remember Mia ? The first macaque that we rescued from a fractured pelvis, rehabilitated for 2 intensive months and released successfully? The Green Room Cafe will be running a campaign entitled "Let's have a compassionate Vesak Day!" from the 14th of April to the 16th of May 2014.
