Hawksbill turtles have been known to have one of the most beautiful translucent looking shell and hence they often fall prey to poaching. Humans use their shell ...

URGENT APPEAL FOR INFORMATION
We are following up on the leads provided following our appeal last week and also looking into obtaining CCTV footage. But we still need your help!
Someone must know the person who kept this black tufted marmoset. She was found lying on a grass patch at 47 Marine Crescent on 5 September.
She was just skin and bones and this is clearly a case of animal cruelty.
A life as been lost and we hope that you will help us ensure that justice is served.

(Let us tell a partial short story -meat free, veggie Thursdays #eggfarmingtoday)
'Mothers of the eggs are crammed so closely together that these normally clean animals are forced to urinate and defecate on one another.
The stench of ammonia and fecal hangs heavy in the air, and disease breaks loose rampantly in the filthy, cramped tight cages and spaces. Many mothers die, and the 'unfortunate' survivors are often forced to live with their dead and dying cagemates, who are sometimes left to ...

Turtle update from Lao PDR.
In our Sanctuary in Lao, the turtle enclosure upgrade is now complete and we released them into their new ponds today.
For some of them it has been a while since they actually had the space to swim. So it took them a bit of time to get used to the pool, which slopes down to a depth of nearly a meter.
But they are all happy now.
We just need to do a bit of landscaping around the pool to make the ground more fun for them!
