Thank you, all donors, supporters, volunteers and sponsors, for Flag Day 2014 (3 Dec '14 (Wed))! We thank all our dedicated volunteers who took time out to volunteer even when it was on a weekday. Earlier this afternoon, SPCA rescued a community cat from being trapped between the grilled slats of a side gate, at a Lorong in Geylang. The cat was observed to have been stuck in its tight spot for at least twenty minutes. Our rescue officers, Eswaran and Glen, rushed to the scene within ten minutes of the distress call by the informers. A reasonable amount of cat shampoo was applied onto the cat's body, helping to lubricate the cat so that it could be gradually eased out of its predicament....

Happy Endings, at last, for POPPY & MAO MAO, senior doggies! Schnauzer MAO MAO has been adopted, by this time, by a kind family! Cat led from the roof to the ground…. Just yesterday (Sun, 16 Nov 2014), SPCA was alerted to a cat seen perched atop a beam near the ceiling of IMM’s Shuttle Bus Pick-up Point in Jurong. The cat has been seen at that spot for a good five days, according to our informer (Ms Rani).
