FOSTERING – DOMINO
Domino was rescued after a member of the public alerted us of a kitten that was stuck in his car’s engine. With the kind assistance from the car owner, our Animal Rescue Officer was able to safely rescue her. As a precaution, our consultant vet checked on her and fortunately, no physical injuries were found.
However, as she was only about 1 ½ months old at that time, she was too young to be put up for adoption. So we turned to our group of ever-ready volunteer fosterer...

SPCA TO THE RESCUE
On 9 November, a cat was seen attempting to dash across a road at Singapore Polytechnic. While trying to help the cat to cross the road, the on-looker, who gave us the call, accidentally frightened the cat into bolting beneath a car’s undercarriage. This escape attempt resulted in the cat, lodging its head through a gap in the car while its body hung loosely outside the undercarriage.

Caring Until "Paw"fection, a group of Secondary 2 students from Hwa Chong Institution, helped us by organising exhibitions and merchandise sales at Kuo Chuan Presbyterian Primary School and Hwa Chong Institution while talking to the students and creating awareness about animal abandonment and adoption. Appeal for Information: Alleged act of baiting an otter at river
On 20 October 2015 (Tuesday), the man pictured here was seen allegedly trying to catch otters by using a fish line and hook. One otter was eventually snagged by the hook, but the line broke and the otter broke free with the hook stuck, possibly in its leg. The incident occurred at a stretch of the Kallang River near Toa Payoh Lorong 8.
