Authorities To Step Up Enforcement To Prevent The Release Of Animals Into The Wild
18th May 2016, by SPCA Singapore

Many people do not realise that these animals are unlikely to survive in natural habitats and may even threaten to affect the ecological balance of the environment that they are released into. Releasing animals into the wild will do them more harm than good. Do your part to demonstrate compassion for anima...

MHA To Review Definition Of ‘animals’ In Traffic Law
11th May 2016, by SPCA Singapore

OUR VIEWS FOR THE NEED TO UPDATE THE ROAD TRAFFIC ACT We were recently interviewed by TODAY and Channel 8, on our views for the need to update our Road Traffic Act. We feel that road users should render assistance, when it is reasonable and safe, regardless of the species of animals. As such, an update of the current Road Traffic Act will not only raise awareness but it will a...

IT IS NO HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY FOR PUPPY MILL MAMAS As we prepare to celebrate Mother’s Day this weekend, we reflect on the way our moms inspire us, love us and cheer us on. But do pause for a moment, to also remember the millions of mother dogs nationwide. Every day, puppies are born into large, substandard breeding facilities commonly known as puppy mills. Mother dogs are forced, over and over again, to produce puppies for profit under conditions of unimaginable cruelty. Once they are p...
