The feeders of the wild boars have good intentions and may not have been aware of the consequences of feeding them and making them reliant on humans for food.

APPEAL FOR INFORMATION
On Sunday, 19 June morning, we responded to a case of a white cat that was found badly injured and bleeding from its mouth at the void deck of Block 889, Tampines Street 81.
Our Animal Rescue Officer arrived at the scene shortly after but unfortunately the cat had already passed on.

On 11 June, we responded to a call regarding a cat that was found injured at the foot of a HDB block.
When our rescue officer arrived at the scene, the cat had already passed on. No witnesses have stepped forward so far.
Our inspector has been liaising with AVA on the case.

GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN - DOODLES AKA DICK TRACY
We are saddened to learn about the passing of Dick Tracy (Doodles). He lived to a good age of 24 years old and passed on recently on 15 May 2016.
Doodles was a subject of a cruelty case - discovered tied to the back of a pickup truck and dragged for a few good metres before the truck was stopped.
His owner, Lawrence described him as a lovely cat. Despite losing his sight, he was in good spirits and looked for rubs and cuddles.
