ADOPT, DON'T SHOP
The SPCA was interviewed last week on Channel News Asia's Singapore Tonight, on the topic of AVA's tighter licensing for pet shops, which came into effect from 1 April 2017.
The SPCA feels that for the new licensing conditions to truly raise the standards of care in pet shops and farms, there will need to be strong and effective enforcement by the authorities, particularly in the areas of the living conditions of these animals and how they are sold.
Remember that a pet is f...

Animals with less than four limbs can have a high quality of life if they have human carers who are willing to go the extra mile for them. And thankfully, there are many who are willing to open their homes and hearts for ...

CARE OF YOUR PET RABBIT
Did you know that the preferred housing for rabbits is either a playpen setup or free roaming within the house? Please do not keep your pet rabbit in a cage.
Do also hide or conceal cables, in addition to placing any potentially dangerous objects away before allowing your rabbit to roam free in the house.
Learn more about rabbit housing at this link http://www.spca.org.sg/pdf/Pet%20Rabbit%20Care_201 7.pdf
