Brownie was found tied to a pole at Woodlands Street 81 in April 2016. She was estimated to be about a year old then. She tends to be shy so a patient and experienced handler, who will take the time to settle her in, to her new environment and who will continue her training as well as socialisation, will be ideal for Brownie.

SPCA and ACRES feel strongly about a recent letter in the Forum section of The Straits Times, with regards to expanding the list of animals allowed as pets (http://www.straitstimes.com/forum/letters-in-prin t/expand-list-of-animals-allowed-as-pets).

The operator of Top Breed Pet Farm in Pasir Ris Farmway 2 has been handed a record fine of $180,000 and has also been disqualified from carrying out any animal-related businesses for six months.

ADOPTION SPOTLIGHT - ARCHIE
Archie is a dog that lives his life to the max. He is a mix of French Bulldog and Jack Russell Terrier.
At approximately 2 years old, he is energetic and will require an owner who can match his high energy level. His previous surrendered him as they were unable to keep up with Archie's needs.
Archie is best suited to an adult-only home with no other pets as he is not comfortable with children and other pets.
