UNDERSTANDING DOGS BODY LANGUAGE
Did you know that dogs display their emotions through their body language?
If a dog’s tail is tucked in between his legs, it means the dog is frightened.
If the dog is wagging his tail gently from side to side, it means the dog is happy.
Apart from a dog’s tail, a dog’s eyes, mouth, ears and overall body posture reveal a lot about what the dog is going through.

ADOPTION SPOTLIGHT - DEXTER
Dexter was adopted from the SPCA in November 2016 but returned in May 2017 as the family cited that their child could not get along with Dexter.
Dexter is still a puppy at just 10 months old. He is energetic and eager to learn.
If you are committed to continuing with Dexter's training that stimulates his mind and show him the ropes to be a good canine citizen, do come by to our adoption centre at 50 Sungei Tengah Road, to interact with him.

On 29 June 2017, at about 2 pm, a cat was found by her owner at the staircase landing between the 4th and 5th floor of Block 176, Boon Lay Drive.
We are offering a $1,000 reward for any information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the person/s responsible for this act.
Anyone with information in relation to this case can call our 24-hour hotline at 6287 5355 (ext. 9), or e-mail inspector@spca.org.sg. Information provided will be treated in the strictest of confidence.

ADOPTION SPOTLIGHT - SINGA
Meet Singa, a Singapura Special of about five years old.
Singa was found together with his brother, Samson when they were about 2.5 months old. A member of the public found both boys at Jurong West Central, opposite a temple. As the mother of the boys was nowhere in sight for quite a few hours, the lady fearing for the safety of the two boys, sent them to the SPCA instead.
Samson was adopted in September 2012 and Singa has been with us since.
