Cinnamon was found in Jurong Island in April 2012, together with his other four siblings. His siblings have all been adopted and Cinnamon has been with us since.

On Tuesday, 12th September 2017, at 10.00 pm, we received a call informing us of more than 50 mice abandoned on the grass patch at Pasir Ris Drive 4 (near lamp post 59, in the vicinity of Ripple Bay condominium).
Traces of mice bedding and food were also found at the location which indicated that the mice were abandoned.

These seven puppies were brought to the SPCA on 18 August 2017 by a concerned member of the public
The person waited for the mother to show up but even after waiting for almost a day, the mother was nowhere in sight.
Concerned for the 2.5 months old puppies' safety as they were found in Lim Chu Kang Road, the person brought the puppies to the SPCA.
Our vet examined them and found them covered with fleas and ticks. We treated all the puppies for their flea...

We thank Channel 8 news for highlighting the importance of the Pet Animal Licensing System.
As the changes to the licensing regime only took effect on 1 March 2017, it is too soon to assess if the new rules have been effective. We do, however, expect to see a decline in abandonment cases resulting from this positive change made by AVA, though it might be a few years before we see results.

This is Jam, a Singapura Special of approximately four years old. Jam was adopted in March 2014 but was returned shortly thereafter as the adopter cited that he appeared nervous from the loud construction noise in the neighbourhood.
With his force free training, many things that used to startle Jam, do not seem to bother him anymore.
