Upon spotting a cat that was stuck on a 12 storey ledge at Indus Road, a worried individual immediately alerted us through SPCA’s emergency hotline. Not knowing what to do, the cat was in a dangerous position and was on the verge of falling.

Easter is just round the corner and often people associate Easter with rabbits and get one because of that.
But please remember that a pet is a life time commitment, and a rabbit can live up to 10 years. They need your love and attention. On top of that, they require daily cleaning of their enclosures. No doubt that they are cute and furry, but they will take up a lot of your time, so think before you commit to getting one.

TREETOP RESCUE
We received a call from a concerned individual about a cat that was stuck in a tree at Yishun Ring Road. Although known to be great climbers, cats are usually nervous about the trip back down. Being stuck at a height of three storeys, the distressed cat was calling out for help.
Upon arriving at the scene, our Animal Rescue Officers assessed the situation. In one swooping motion, our officers managed to reach the cat and bring the frightened feline to safety.
