Many happy dogs went home with their new no-pull harnesses! In exchange for aversive tools, the dogs had a free 1-on-1 harness fitting done. Some lucky ones even got to do an impromptu training session at SPCA. Thank you to all who applied for our programme. 💙

Hello everyone! I am old man Da Tou (meaning big head in Mandarin, even though my head isn’t even that huge!), and I’m here to tell you that I am up for adoption! I was sent to SPCA’s Community Animal Clinic on 24 Aug after I was hit by a vehicle. It was decided that amputation was the best option.
So now I am Da Tou, the 3-legged dog! 🐶 Everyone at SPCA describes me as the sweetest old boy. I am very affectionate and gentle, and will hop to you when you call for me.

The SPCA rescued a dog, found in a severely neglected state and possibly abandoned, on the morning of 28 October 2020 along the intersection of Heng Mui Keng Terrace and Pasir Panjang Road. Unfortunately, the dog succumbed to its medical condition despite undergoing an emergency surgery at SPCA’s Community Animal Clinic. We are seeking the identity of the dog’s owner.
