Spca Rescues: Humpty Dumpty (Cat) Sat On The Wall (Fence) 7th Aug 2021, by SPCA Singapore
After getting a call about a community cat’s curious predicament that left him stranded on a ~3m high fence at Bukit Batok, our #SPCASingapore Animal Rescue Officers rushed down to rescue that little humpty dumpty… who luckily did not have a great fall.
Thanks to their swift responses and the right tools, kitty was secured safe and sound in minutes, back to ground level. After making sure it was fine with no injuries, kitty was then happily released back to its home - the community area!

Limping along Bukit Timah, Chowder was rescued to #SPCASingapore. With his dental health found to be in dire condition—dental scaling, teeth polishing, and removal of rotten teeth were done. Found struggling to escape a glue trap, kitty had fresh open wounds from the ordeal. The SPCA has long advocated against the use of glue traps due to the harm caused as well as the inadvertent trapping of non-target species. We have rescued many animals from glue traps, and it is a painstaking process to remove the glue from the animals, and not all survive.
